Second ICOP conference

The second conference of the Islamic Crescent Observation Project was held in Abu Dhabi in June 2010.

I had the chance to attend the conference and give a 30 minute talk on "Electronic imaging of the lunar crescent", which was well received.

The whole conference was a wonderful experience for me, with the opportunity to meet in person very many people with a shared interest. I really enjoyed the deep discussions on all number of topics, not just crescent imaging.

Acting on requests from numerous people i have tried to improve the english start page, to provide better access to crescent imaging information on this site.
